When it comes to stepbrother books, I always want to read them but I rarely ever like them. The only one I can say I loved with everything I am is Wrath by Ella James but that book is so much more than it’s trope whereas this was just a superficial boring slog I wish I DNF’d. I’ve been better about DNFing but if I’m honest, I am a super procrastinator and was putting off cleaning my bathroom. I thought this book would improve but sadly I think I’d have rather scrubbed my toilet instead because I hated this. Actually, hate is way too much feeling for a book so damn boring.

**I was given a free copy of this book to read and review for Gay Romance Reviews.**

Garrett and Tyler were thrown together when they were kids. Their parents got married and while in Vegas. Garrett and Tyler were always what their friends would consider close, or closer than actual brothers. When they were young Garrett would also seek comfort sleeping in Tyler's bed. Tyler never thought anything of it until catching him in the shower with another guy. In that moment everything changed and Tyler was questioning everything. Garrett has always known his gay and attracted to Tyler. Tyler has never thought about it until seeing Garrett in the shower and now thinking that way about Garrett has consumed him. When he asks Garrett to let him explore Garrett is more than happy to let that happen not giving his heart a second thought.

This is a new to me author. I felt it was an easy quick read. I was invested from the beginning. Garrett and Tyler were closer than any step brothers should be but their love couldn't be stopped. It was a steamy and sweet read.

This was softer and sweeter than I expected it to be. The boys did grow up together as stepbrothers but have always been exceptionally close. After seeing something he shouldn’t have, Tyler and Garrett get on the same page quick.

I liked that the family was pretty cool with what happened all things considered. The main/only angst of the story was the trauma of being outed publicly and without their consent. It was done maliciously and felt so gross.

These characters are adults (19) but have just graduated high school and a lot of the drama that surrounded them felt appropriate for that age range. Tyler and Garrett’s relationship was lovely because they’ve been each others person since they were 10 years old so they picked up on cues from the other and we didn’t have tons of miscommunication.

Not for me--Sweet story but not much adventure. Two step brothers moved into the same house at 10. Pretty quickly, they became close. They slept in the same room at first for space, but got used to the habit. BFFs, always together, friends assumed the relationship was more. Eventually, it became more.

Was really quite boring.

What a delicious, yummy, sweet love Story. I thoroughly enjoyed Strictly Curious by Joelle Lynne. I love the step brothers troupe its a bit on the taboo side but that's what makes it that much more juicy and romantic. I mean it took Tyler and Garrett a whole lot to eventually be together. Despite societies standards they found their truth, strength and courage to be in an romantic relationship. To me that's super romantic and I'm a sucker for romance. Not to mention this was
