3.5 stars. You don’t read this for the plot, it’s the spice. I enjoyed this book and read it in one day- buuut the relationship lacks a little substance IMO- it’s hot for sure but I needed a little more something to really bind the lovers. I’m gonna ready more in the series for sure.
I wanted to like this book, but it was not for me. To me, it read like a caricature of romantasy. The dialogue annoyed me and I couldn't get into the story. DNFed at 68%.

I'm in a great reading mood so 4 stars it is, probably 3.5 rounded up. Am I past my weird reading slump?

I just wrote a whole review and Goodreads crashed on me so long story short -> last 30% of the book was really good, first 60% was weird as hell and not in a good way with the o*rgies at night and the s*x demons literally SO unnecessary and ruined the whole book.
I decided in the last 30% that I was going to read book 2 because I was curious to find out how the 2 main characters were going to progress together, but the last 10 pages ruined that and I will now probably (because never say never) not read the other books in the series.

So. This seems set in midevil times, but the people speak and act like they are modern day.
The excessive cursing is ridiculous and throws you off. I was gonna give book 2 a chance but I cant handle 400 pages of this on repeat.

Cringe and immature writing. There was potential I this story but the author spat on it.

Strasznie to wszystko dziwne było, ale całkiem wciągające. Trzeba przestawić trochę swój mózg na to jakie zwyczaje panują tam i nie patrzeć na te książkę z perspektywy ludzkich zachowań.
Napewno będę czytać dalej bo jednak coś w sobie miało i jestem ciekawa co tam sie ma zdarzyć
