I am honestly tired of Beauty and the Beast retelling. I swear they are popping up everywhere in an endless stream.
But this one is the absolutely best. I love the supporting cast. 5* just for them. Ridiculous but amazing. I can't ever read another retelling that doesn't include orgies.

This is the corniest, cheesiest version of a beauty and the beast retelling I’ve ever read. I’m not sure that the book can make up its mind what time period. It is set in. I just couldn’t get through the choppy descriptions the choppy dialogue. I feel like somebody is reading it to me really fast and hasn’t taken a breath.

Seriously love the twist on this fairy tale. As alawys Queen Breene does an amazing job building this world and immersing the reader inside of it. Yes there might be some pearl clutching for some in this book with things that they've never even realized existed but come on what do you expect from succubus demons... personally I loved every moment and am preordered and ready for the bext book!

Holy smokes. This book shocked me! I was not prepared for such good storyline. This is a beauty and the beast retelling, comes with a lot of spice hype. KF Breene is such a thoughtful, funny, well planned writer. The characters are just excellent. The side characters are so much more than that. The layers, the world building leaves you a little confused, but as book 1 that typically happens (keep reading). I was very very pleasantly surprised by this book, and the series may just end up in a top recommendation spot of mine.
