This was a great book to listen to. The narrator was fantastic. Even if you aren’t “into science stuff” you can still follow along and understand perfectly. Loved Rocky, that scary alien spider was my jam.p

This book was awesome and I 100% recommend it.
*Spoilers below*
My only issue was that at the end I would have liked to know what the message in the beetles was. And to see the reaction of stratt.
But I loved everything else. The slightly surreal world building is great to watch unfold. The mechanic of memory loss worked really well for that.
Of course I loved rocky and the ALIEN LANGUAGE LEARNING. I loved the language modelling and the way they both enjoyed it so much because they're both scientists (and a teacher!!).
I love how much thought went into Erid and it's culture (eg the Thrum) and their habits on eating and drinking etc.
