Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a brief yet educational overview on the history of mixed-raced marriages in the U.S., with a heavy focus on the Loving v. Virginia case. Very easy to read and understand with some interesting details that were new to me. Definitely puts into perspective how certain marriage practices that may be common today have been the result of relatively new changes in the law.

This book, while targeted to teenagers, is a great read about the Loving case. Had enough information, pictures etc to learn about the case, it's context and it's future effect on the country. A quick read for sure, but I adored it.

I thought this book was very interesting. It first started talking about the Loving case and gave a quick overview of what happened. Then near the end of the book it tied in Loving with the LGBT movement and how some cases referenced the Loving case when it came to same-sex couples cases.

I did think the book was really short and I would've kept on reading it if there was more.
