Is This Anything? by Jerry Seinfeld

Seinfeld reads this himself, so it is like hearing him tell his bits in a comedy show--one after the other, so I would:
1) listen to it, not read it and
2) not listen to too much at once because it can be a lot of humor at once!

I loved listening to Jerry Seinfeld read this. Laugh-out-loud funny. It's interesting to see the arc of his wit and humor through the years.

It's Seinfeld, written. How can you go wrong? A laugh and a grin are what I needed.

It is something...but you’ve heard 85% of it.

I love Jerry Seinfeld’s humor. This book is basically SeinLanguage and then about 40 new bits. Still love it, but buy it on sale.

I recommend listening vs reading. It is, most literally, a "joke" book. Just page after page of comedy & best to hear from the pro himself.

This was funny, and I enjoyed listening to it with the kids. My favorite bits were the ones I’ve heard on other albums of Seinfeld’s, but I do love his comedy.

This book perfectly illustrates why you should watch/hear stand up comedy and not read it. He is hilarious and I love his work but it should not be read. Also, having it all the jokes laid out one after another, ruined the comedy aspect. By the end of the book, I had completely learned Seinfeld's formula for a joke, I could almost write the end before reading it.

This was... something? Great book, great comedic journey & lots of good laughs. This really was something special, and I’m glad I gave it a listen and a laugh! Would definitely borrow and re-read it again!

Seinfeld is one of my idols, comedy or otherwise. His show is my all-time favorite as well. Since I've followed him for decades now, I've heard many of the jokes but it was entertaining to hear them again -- along with some new jokes along the way (hello COVID!). The book also shows that irreverent comedy has no shelf life because as long as people exist, some things will never change.
