I actually hate to write this.
Obviously, everyone has their own opinions, styles, preferences, etc. But I read most of this book just wondering what I was reading. I don't know whether most of the stories are just not well written or if it's the fact that they are very cliche, over the top, and just strange.
Most of the stories, dare I say all, are simply gore/sex versus an actual story. The plots are non existent in place of shock, blood, and a lot of candy cane cocks (I honestly wish I was joking).
I love a good bloodfest and gore horror story. But I also would enjoy the story as well. I feel like the call for submission with this collection was the most unrealistic, strangest Christmas related idea you can imagine, also a demon, sexual Santa, or candy cane cock into it and send it to us. No editing or anything.
I honestly think this may be my first one star review and I hate to write it, but this collection was simply bad in my own personal opinion.
