Volume 26 collects the bulk of the Endeavor Agency Arc and the beginning of the Paranormal Liberation War arc. The chapters collected here have a good balance of light moments and darker moments.
Pros:
-You know what, Bakugou is one of my favorite characters in MHA. He's pretty hilarious, especially when he attempts to be nice while still being a foul-mouthed jerk, like when he compliments Fuyumi's tofu.
-The Todoroki family drama is really interesting, even though outside of Todoroki (and possibly Dabi), I'm not that attached. (I err on the dislike side of the controversial Endeavor).
-The bit of Aizawa backstory was very interesting. It wasn't much, but it was compelling.
Cons:
-I've noticed that while Kohei Horikoshi seems to like drawing his female characters because he keeps featuring several of them in chapter covers, even when they don't appear much (or at all) in the chapter. However, he doesn't do much with them when it comes to storytelling. Not even Ochako, the most prominent female character, has had a big arc since the Sports Festival. Yeah, it's Shonen, so the main audience is boys, but that doesn't mean you have to dismiss the female characters.
-The villain for the Endeavor Agency Arc has odd motivations. He's very clear about what he wants, but I have no idea why. Why does he want to be killed by a hero? Why is that how his fixation on Endeavor manifests? He's probably not appearing again (even though his power is pretty unique).
-Mineta appears briefly. Even a little Mineta is a lot for me since his personality is one gag that I never found funny.
