Lila is a fun character to connect with, and her love for food and creativity is awesome to see! The only aspect I didn't love in this book was the romance/almost love triangle. Didn't feel very necessary, but maybe it's part of the set-up for book 3?

I liked the first book a lot. The 2nd one felt like a bad lifetime hallmark movie. Still on the fence about whether or not and continue with the 3rd book.
