She got me. I'm rarely surprised by who the bad guy is and why, but Meghan march surprised me. While some of it made sense, the rest of it came out of left field, which is probably why it worked.
I will say that most of this book was frustrating because Jericho and Indie spent it apart. Also, the part her dad played in them being apart was cliche and annoying.
Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I was captivated enough that I listened through all three audiobooks in the last few days.

What an ending to an incredible trilogy! How on earth does MM manage to keep coming up with the most incredible heroes for her books?!? Jericho Forge was everything!
Meghan March has blown me away in the stunning conclusion of Heart of the Devil! Forge and Indy’s relationship had me more intrigued then ever by the end of book two and I’ll tell you, book three takes it to the next level! I was stunned as to how their relationship plays out in Heart of the Devil and how you finally get to see who can be trusted and who cannot. I have to say I thought I knew the good from the bad...boy, was I ever wrong! I was truly not ready for what MM threw my way! Heart of the Devil had me on the edge of my seat, looking for clues as to who done it and made me fall deeper in love with Jericho Forge! This entire series was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it!

So this last book was definitely NOT my favorite! They definitely rushed it!! The amount of plot twists they added to the last 2 chapters… for what like we all knew how it was going to end either way
yeah i finish two books in one sitting that's how i love reading her books. it might not be my favorite but i still like them and enjoyed everything about it.
