Enjoyable story, but felt so short! There didn't seem to be as much of an arc as in book one, which was really disappointing.

Crash
Demented Souls, Book 2
By: Melissa Stevens
Narrated by: D.C. Cole

Melissa Stevens has a winning series on her hands with the Demented Souls. Each story is chock full of alpha males, passion and a little danger, drawing us in and keeping us riveted. This novella introduces us to Crash, and yes, his nickname fits. When he wakes up in the hospital, he finds an attractive nurse there coming to his aid. Knowing he can't mix her work with his pleasure, he cannot wait until he is released from the hospital. But will these two be safe outside the hospital? And will Amber fit into the Demented Souls lifestyle? Narrated by the very talented DC Cole, you will not want to miss this one. He brings the story to life and makes the listen a pleasure.

I enjoyed this one. The story is short but it flowed well and drew me in from beginning to end. I enjoyed getting to see Crash and Amber get to know each other while he recuperated and them wait until he was out of rehab facility to take it further. It gave them the time to actually get to know each other and see how the other person worked and handled certain things. This was an easy one to listen to and it was quick.

Hot, short and sweet MC romance. Crash is involved in a serious crash that involve lots of rehab afterward. This is a great short, one sitting read.

I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased , honest review.

I enjoyed this story. I just wish there was more to it. This is a wonderful series and this story is no different. I almost feel like it is a glimpse into Crash and Amber. There were all kinds of avenues that could have been taken. Even with that being said I still liked the book. Really anything with this group of guys. I love their brotherhood and what they stand for.

This isn’t my first book by this author. I love this series and am ready for the next. I did listen to this on audio and D.C. Cole did a great job.
