Niepowtarzalny klimat wykopalisk i Biskiego Wchodu. Grupa ludzi i wzajemnie podejrzenia. Zakończenie nieco irracjonalne i właśnie za to je lubię. To był mój trzeci reread i nie ostatni. Kolejny raz dzięki tej książce poczułam gorące słońce i piasek na skórze.

Probably one of, if not THE, most implausible murder in the series lol but I loved that it was narrated by an observant and brilliant woman. 3.5/5.

This is a Hercule Poirot mystery but is not from his perspective. It is from Nurse Amy Leatheran's and offers a new light and voice into the story.

This is set at an archeology dig. The Nurse was asked by the dig leader to take care of his skittery wife. The nurse agrees.

The Nurse is getting settled in to the new environment when, on one busy but normal day, the wife is killed. Hercule Poirot, who was just passing through the area, is stopped and asked to solve this case. The Nurse is asked to accompany Poirot and help him with the case.

I thought this outsider's perspective of Poirot and his ways was entertaining. The nurse spent some time with Poirot when he was questioning suspects and gathering information. She said it was like being a doctor's assistant again, because Poirot would send her to do tasks while he did others.

This book seemed pretty straightforward. I thought it was one character, but yet again, my guess was wrong. The big reveal at the end was honestly the most exciting part for me.
