Red the Story here:

I liked it, it very much reminded me of the kinds stories you tell around campfires.
Tho I'd wish the terror/fear would have been described better, for like this, I had trouble understanding why hiding was so necessary.
Still a good story Tho.

I think this is a great short (really short) story. It's subtle and eerie. The plot twist is clever and I think it gives a very good explanation of why that thing that happens happens. I gave this 5/5⭐️ bcs (idk why I didn't rate this two weeks ago when I read it) I think about it daily and I just think it had a great resolution to the story, and I would strongly and certainly recommend this short story to anyone that want something quick and fun to read in a horror/suspense genre.
Good job C.J. Tudor, hope you write more short stories soon.
