It was a good book. I liked the plot a lot more in the beginning than the end. Felt like the book started to spin out and repeat the same scenarios to tedium. I didn’t find the relationship between the main characters to be that believable as there wasn’t really much chemistry. All this being said, I’ll read the next book because Juniper sounded a lot more interesting than Raelynn.

I enjoyed this far more than I thought I was going to. I love how possessive Leon was with Rae and how hard they kept fighting. I also wasn’t expecting a cult to decide they were going to partake in human sacrifice.
