It reminds me of Enid Blyton books I read as a child. The nostalgia alone sustains the score.

That was quick.

I gave this an automatic 5 stars, because of reasons.

Favourites include of course, The Tale of The Three Brothers and Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump. My muggle brain did succumb to her trick and I did think that it was the stump cackling.

I really appreciated how Dumbledore's notes were written. I could hear his voice reading them to me. What a perfect execution.

When I first received this as a gift, I really wanted the Deathly Hallows symbol to be sketched onto the top of a page, like in Hermione's original edition. This can be explained by the fact that this is not, in fact, the original edition bequeathed to her in Dumbledore's will, however, the touch would have been very much appreciated and giddiness-inducing.

I really enjoyed hearing more into the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Truly interesting. I loved listening to this being read by some actors who are in the movies. Really good experience listening to it

Upon re-reading the novels, it's hard not to see the author's traditionalist, gender-conformist mindset.

Once, I believed in separating the art from the artist, but this is the first time I've had to try doing so while the artist is still alive and using wealth gained from their art to cause suffering.

Writers have power, the living have power, and the wealthy have power. She is all of those things. I have to do what I can to regain the power I gave her, and this is it.

This book will remain a staple for children who have yet to be jaded by the world.

Read in one sitting and although I haven't finished the HP series yet (I know, sorry, it may not give justice to my rating), but I still loved how the tales were told in both magical and non-magical way. Dumbledore's notes on analyzing each story are good.

A must have for every Harry Potter love that has read the books. I think this is a great addition to Deathly Hallows and a nice peek in the stories that wizard children know from when they were little

I actually listened to the Audible version of this book, and what fun it was!
My favourite part was Jude Law being Dumbledore, proving once again how perfectly cast he is in the Fantastic Beasts movies...

As a Potter fan it’s always nice to get an extra piece of the Wizarding World, the stories were cute and the commentary from Dumbledore was fun
