3.22 AVERAGE

I have several things to say
1. This book annoyed me in so many ways. The main characters kept forgetting about the mission they were on to find a RUNAWAY BRIDE. They acted like it was the most dire situation and then just took a shopping spree and ate a fancy dinner?? I was so sick of them
2. It is painfully obvious that Hannah Brown wrote this book. The off brand bachelor show mentioned so many times, the thrown in references to church and 1 Corinthians 13 at one point.
3. There were so many plot points that we just don’t find out either what the full story was or how they ended because characters “didn’t want to talk about that right now” or “a story for another time” or just so vague.
It started off with potential I guess? But this book was just trying to do too much while also doing nothing

Very nearly DNF. I couldn’t get into the characters at all.

Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, and I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, which this book had a lot of. Plus, there were quite a few unanswered questions by the end that left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. That said… the cover is super pretty, so at least it’ll still look cute on my shelf!

The book just didnt click with me. There is no specific reason.

Thank you NetGalley for this eArc. Hannah was one of my favorite bachelorettes so I knew I wanted to read this book! It was a cute read. I love the childhood friends to lovers trope and the little Hannah moments that were in this book, like the moving of the podium.

Started off strong and then just fell in to a repetitive cycle.
