I liked the Gilbert Gottfried ass voices the narrator of the audiobook did.

An unbelievable work of science fiction...so imaginative in the way it uses our current understanding of physics to project into the unknown and show the fear that exists on the other side of the void. The influence of the Cultural Revolution on all the characters was not at all what I expected when diving into this! I love how the author takes an oddity and has the characters prod at it as a scientist would.
