I know everyone loves Jameson, but Tristan has always been my favorite Miles brother. But holy bananas, this book messed me up!

Reading about Elliot falling for Kathryn was just beautiful. I love his romantic side and how he believes in fate because it feels so unusual for a powerful man like Elliot to have that quality.

I loved the “secret” online messages and the Enchanted estate, with all of its animals. I loved the dynamic between the Miles brothers and how Kathryn meets their parents. I loved piecing things together as the story progressed. I loved the spice (it’s T.L. Swan - you know the spice is next level).

What I did not love was Elliot’s grand fuck-up. I feel like so often, the “mistake” that leads to the drama is some miscommunication, but not here. Not Elliot. This man really does something that could be unforgivable. And he does it knowingly. And it broke Kathryn’s heart and mine as well. So. Many. Tears.

Thankfully, there’s a HEA and both Kathryn and I recovered

Why is that all the Miles men seem great when they aren't the main character and then mostly act like jack asses when they are the MC? All that aside I liked this as well as the others. Elliot's house seemed dreamy and the descriptions made me want to be there. Katherine was a fine character, not my favorite but not horrible. It was fine. 3*

I’m still so glad I kept with this series - this one wrecked me a little, and I loved it. It also had me laughing out loud at times.

4.5 stars!
I'm officially in love with Elliott Miles- alpha hero, sexy dirty talking billionaire. Lover of ducks and goats. What more could you ask for in a man?

P.S. There is one scene at a party where all the Miles brothers are there as well as Mr Masters, Spencer and Garcia. We don't even get to interact with all of them but just to know all those powerfully sexy men were all in one place had my ovaries weeping. T.L. Swasn truly creates some of the most amazing men!

-Some dual POV

-MC is 27 (yay), male interest is 34

-enemies to lovers I guess (didn’t stay enemies for very long and they went from 0 to 60 quick so there wasn’t much tension building)

-didn’t appreciate the reason for the switch from enemies to lovers from the male’s POV

-the crisis wasn’t caused by a standard trope (miscommunication, for-your-own-good etc)

-spice was okay-decent

-Not much interaction with supporting characters besides Daniel. Where the heck was her best friend/roommate Rebecca this whole time?

-I think the whole timeline for their relationship is pretty short. Maybe a couple weeks?

-MC has endometriosis which is neat representation I suppose

-P.S. who the fuck takes 2 Norcos straight out of the gate when they are opioid naive and were warned that they are strong?

The spice in this book is great but the relationship is toxic beyond belief.
