this book was such a DRAG. and the introduction left me like "wtf" because where did it even fit into the story hello? adding a .25 bc I'm nice
Quite strange offering with an introduction from Graham Green purportedly there to explain how this text got lost and forgotten in a film studio, but including a short telling of two other stories that were to be developed into movies, both possibly more interesting than this novel, and one which I believe finally became “Our Man in Havana’. I marveled a bit at the way Greene managed to throw together the framework plots in the introduction. The Tenth Man’ is an acceptable Green ‘entertainment’, but not one to rush out and buy. It's another short listen (even including the introduction) which can be completed in one sitting.
