It was not great and whereas I was able to get through the previous book with skimming I was not able with this one. It was so difficult to get through this book, I was able to ignore the writing style somewhat but then you get to the plot and it was too much. I know there are more preposterous plots out there but this one was too much for me or maybe it was a combination of both the writing style and plot.

This Pride and Prejudice variation continues and concludes. Colonel Fitzwilliam's anger has cost him his engagement with Mary Bennet. When the Colonel goes back to the war what will Mary and by association her family do.
An entertaining story but then Mary and the Colonel are my favourite couple.
Another re-read of this delightful story. Again another re-read
