I’m glad I gave it a try as I’ve been wanting to read McCarthy for a while - but it definitely wasn’t for me, and I probably won’t be reading McCarthy again.

This was like nothing I've ever read before. Some of the most beautiful, fascinating and disgusting writing I've ever come across.  I'm simultaneously glad it's over and yet would like to re-read.
