I loved this book. Beautiful illustrations and a lovely story of 2 squabbling squirrels. I think this would be a great class read and I think the children will enjoy joining in with parts of the story. It also has a lovely message at the end about friendship which can be discussed with the children along with the issue of sharing. Lots can be done with this story!

Top 10 fave book in our home library! The illustrations, length, pace, and story line are all adorable. Can’t help but smile every time we read it!

I suppose this is supposed to be a new retelling of the Grasshopper and the Ant, but despite having cute squirrels, I found it deeply unsatisfying. One squirrel "lives in the moment" and does nothing to prepare for winter, while the other stockpiles and is portrayed as greedy. I'm not opposed to the message of sharing and friendship, but I'm annoyed that the hard worker is the only who admits any fault in the situation.

This book is so cute and I absolutely love the pictures. It reminded me of growing up with my sister.

A very funny book told in rhyme about two squirrels who fought over food. The ending is very sweet how they both learned to share food. This would make a great fall storytime book for elementary children.

Lugu sellest, kuidas palju parem on vaenlastega võitlemise asemel sõpradega koos naerda ja lõbutseda.
Mõnusalt seiklusrikas, kuid ei midagi ootamatut ega uut.
