I liked this book, but didn’t love it. It’s told from the perspectives of Emilie and Sara, whose lives will eventually intersect. But before they did, I got a little confused when the perspectives would shift—maybe my fault for reading too many books at once, but I didn’t keep up with the cast of supporting characters very well. I liked both characters, and they were reasonably well-developed, but I still wanted the author to go deeper without making the book longer.
