I liked it

Honestly I downloaded it because the name made me laugh and I am bored af of wolf shifters. But it's cute and I really dig Kenzie. Emma if you read this, Black Jewels was my favorite too for a long time. But after the "ending" I couldn't read it anymore, I still go on tangents about the end. I'm hoping you too hated the ending so I never go through that again.

Fox Yes

This is my first fox shifter book, and I’m HOOKED. I’m not a huge fan of third person limited story telling, but this was such a great read.

The four main characters, 3 fox shifters and 1 kinda witch, are so fun. We are still getting to know them all and learning their backstories, so I’m immediately starting book 2.

I also really appreciated that the book doesn’t end on a crazy cliffhanger. It leaves a lot of loose ends, but we aren’t wallowing and staring off the edge of the cliff in agony.

Good start to a multi-book series!

Kenzie is strong female character perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She is mostly human in a supernatural world. I love that this story pairs "lesser" shifters with Kenzie. I also appreciate that the bond has to grow. No insta-love here. I am excited to see where book two is going to take us in the exciting life of Kenzie and her mates!

It was a good book, but it didn't really engage me. The world building was pretty bad, the writing was okay. I probably won't read the next one.

What happens?
Kenzie is a powerless witch. She is trying to save her sister from dying of having no power when she should. During her planned heist to steal a potion to give her sister powers back she is interrupted and robbed of the potion by 3 foxes that have some allure she doesn't want to ignore.
It turns out that the triad of shifters are her mates and they can't fight the mate bond anymore than she can, they make a deal with her for the potion to save her sister.
Final thoughts
This is pretty delicious. Its not perfect, there are some parts that could do with more explaining and I'm waiting for the big reveal but this is a good read and I did enjoy it despite the other negative reviews. Its an easy read with romance and sex, just depends on how deep you want to look!

Better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't enjoy Spotted her first by Emma Dean. So I kind of went into this with low expectations because it's in the same world. But it was actually pretty good. There are some issues but for the most part good. I am excited for the next one.

Had me hooked!

I started reading this book last night, and I literally did not put it down until I finished. It's now ... 9am? Who needs sleep!

This story had me engulfed from the very first chapter. It introduced the characters well, but throughout the story as it progressed rather than all in one go. It was perfect. Even with this book complete, there's still more to learn about them, and I can't wait to see what remains in the upcoming books!

It's a bit of a slow burn romance, but it's done SO well. If you like romance, RH, and paranormal, you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK. When I review books it's sometimes "Yeah, can't complain, 5 stars.", but this is ABSOLUTELY 5 stars.

I loved the beginning of this series!
Starting off strong with Kenzie doing what she dies best, and stumbling into our 3 mysterious fox shifters.

After a life of being shunned of having no powers as a witch, Kenzie is finding it strange to have the attention of 3 strong, gorgeous men.

I love who Kenzie is and her relationship with her sister, I hope the jobs have a positive outcome...!!!
