Loved it

What happens when a magic less witch is the mate of three foxes? I loved this. The dynamic between the group is exciting. I love how crafty and cunning the fox shifters are and how perfectly Kenzie fits in with them. The world that's been created is consuming and I would give this more than 5 stars if I could.

re-read 2020
Still adore this series and I find the guys to be so unique. I love that they are tricky, playful, and sweet. Always playing some type of game, but still definitely can be serious.

----------------
I loved this series -- the whole thing. I might have had a few problems with it here and there, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Also, I'm a huge fan of foxes and I'm glad we got other shifters besides wolves.
Loved it so much I read the two standalones in the same world and am dying to get started on the other series. Why haven't I? I'm worried I'll end up in a mini-slump again when I can't read the whole series in one sitting.

Surprisingly Good

I really enjoyed this to my surprise. The characters are engaging and I found myself laughing at several points throughout. I'm fairly intrigued by the hierarchy of the clans and shifters that was set up. Overall, I had fun with it and want to read more.

Random Thoughts:

The characterizations of the men were a bit weird … like how one of them calls himself a dirty whore and the heroine likes that?

Also, how that same Hero makes sexual comments about OW.

And, the fact that the heroine's mates wouldn't hand over the potion that would save her sister's life ... because of money (and/or maybe their reputation as mercenaries?)! The fact that the heroine rationalized this decision by the men–who, at the same time, were trying to romance her–made no sense.

Better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't enjoy Spotted her first by Emma Dean. So I kind of went into this with low expectations because it's in the same world. But it was actually pretty good. There are some issues but for the most part good. I am excited for the next one.
