This should have ticked all my boxes what with the meeting online, teacher/student, literary agent, author thing. All things I love to read. I expected passion and angst, but it kinda just… fizzled out. It became boring. I could barely make myself finish by the end, sadly. Not to say it was poorly written or anything, because it wasn’t, it just didn’t hold my interest.

I enjoyed spending my morning reading Dear Mr. Brody. It was sitting in my library for a few weeks as I am a big mood reader. Happy I took the time to go on the journey of friendship between Donovan "Van" and "Parker". I love to go into a story blind so no extra details will be in my review. If you like M/M romance you will like this story.

As always I love Amanda’s book and this story was amazing and cute. Donovan and Parker were wonderful and I loved all of their interactions and how supportive their families were.

Donovan was recently divorced but he always felt attracted to both men and women. I really liked that he and his ex ended their marriage in a good way for their daughter’s sake. He was an amazing father and I loved how he and Parker were with each other.

Parker always knew he liked men so at 24 he wanted to maybe settle down and have a serious relationship. He was amazing with words and Donovan always believed in him and all he could do. They had some reservations at first thanks to their teacher/student relationship but at the end their feelings won for over everything.

I loved their chats through the app, how they both understood the other and they had a really great chemistry. Donovan didn’t have experience with men so Parker helped him a lot through that and thanks to all the people around them they found a way to be together and happy.
