Some older poems by Bukowski, they have a little more feeling and grit in them. Enjoyed the forward written by him as well, very interesting guy.

My introduction to the author. A poet like no other, I was fascinated at how crude and honest this man can be while simultaneously giving me insight to beauty.

bukowski is foul and terrible and if i knew him in real life i’d want him dead, but he’s a great poet. if you’re miserable and looking to wallow in that for a bit, read bukowski.

I don’t like Mr. Bukowski, but I can’t deny he’s got some good poems

Fuck Nick Cave. Buk' rules. I read this book aloud to my father in memory care and it was a favorite.
