General Thoughts: This is the second book I've read by this author. I've enjoyed both. Lane Hart is a good writer. Some of the plot decisions were harder for me here. It's one thing to be involved in the drug trade and another in human trafficking. That was harder for me to stomach. I liked both main characters better than those in the first book though. I thought it was interesting to see how the romance developed. I'm interested to see what happens next.
Check your triggers, but I think this is one is a great dark mafia romance.
Steam Meter: ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 It was definitely spicy. Not the most graphic or prolific, but definitely there and often.
