Most promising start to a zombie-themed story that I've encountered. Not so much focused on gore, or even zombies...

I've been wanting to know what the hype is all about .And Since my Wifi is so slow at the moment
-_- , I've decided to read the comic.
This 1st issue was nothing big . But it makes you want to know more about what happened exactly .

Unintentionally funny, but yet still somehow addictive.

This was free on iBooks (and only after did I realize the next issues aren't free). It was short so I don't have too many opinions on it, but it did want me to continue reading. I've never been really into the zombie thing and I never bothered with the show. But maybe I'll like reading the graphic novels.

I decided to give this a go, mainly because I was introduced to it as the show first and with the season over, I needed some more of this world in my life. Why not give it a go in its original comic form? Especially as this was free on Kindle.

I rated it three stars. Not much happens in this issue, though I imagine it's just setting the scene and it will get better. I'm also not a big fan of comics and graphic novels, which could play a part in my lack of enjoyment. I may continue on this series someday though.

I'm not one that normally reads graphic novels, but I have enjoyed watching the series The Walking Dead on AMC. There are many differences between the tv series and the graphic novels, they have done an excellent job of bringing graphic novels to life.

This is a really short read - something that can be finished in the time it takes to drink a cup of tea.

It's the first instalment of many, and it is well illustrated and the good beginning of a story. The movie series follows the story very well - of what I have read so far. The only gripe is that it is too short and reading a graphic novel / comic on a kindle is never as nice as the real thing. I'd like to read more but I'd think of buying 5 - 10 comics at a time and reading them in one go.
