A.W. Tozer is one of those writers that is frequently cited in church sermons of all shapes and sizes, and I picked up this book finally determined to read one of his full texts. In all honesty, I thought it was interesting, but really, really dry. It felt like I was reading a textbook. I might check out another book or two on specific topics he's written about, but I suspect I might enjoy his work more through the filter of a pastor putting bits and pieces into larger contexts.
