Small town murder mystery that seemed like it had so much promise but this just didn’t do it for me.
I’m not sure I was even reading the same book as those quoted on the cover…. “Darkly humorous and suspenseful”, “Funny, twisty, bloodthirsty”, “I laughed out loud… highly recommend” - laughed out loud at what?? The terrible story?! There was nothing in this book that was funny in my opinion.
This story had so much potential but it just wasn’t executed very well and the “plot twist” at the end left a lot to be desired.
If you want a quick, whodunnit read and don’t mind being too disappointed then this is an easy read and won’t take you long to get through, but not one I’d really recommend to anyone. Sorry!

This kept me guessing! There were some plots I guessed early on, but others that I didn’t until the reveal was upon us.
The romance reader in me was rooting for Kirby and Dylan but alas it is a thriller not a romance!
