Basically, the only part that I liked was the main character was gay. I love to see gay representation in media.

Light hearted and fun... this book made me wish I had friends like these in high school.

I loved the queer representation, but I think this YA novel reads a little too young for me. I didn’t find the plot overly exciting either. Just not for me.

This is a book that I wish I would have had when I was in high school. The characters where dynamic, the plot was amazing. The way that McQuiston once again had me guessing, I truly never really knew Shara's next move. The thing that I loved most about this book was the way you could see relationships get formed and you could watch Chloe learn how everything in the town was connected. As someone from a small town, it is really easy to forget that there is a world outside of it, and this book showcased that perfectly. Many of these characters learned lessons that I also learned in my senior year, and it was highly relatable, hilarious, and it gave off the feel of a early 2000s romcom. I loved this book, and I believe that it is now safe to say that McQuiston is one of my favorite authors. As always, thank you for listening.
