This book just missed the mark with me. I gave it a low 3 stars. There was something about each character that didn't vibe with me, but i cant put my finger on it. THe sex was just....weird. THe subplot was boring.

- reread 6 April, still obsessed because this one isn’t weird or creepy… it’s cute, they meet before they know and she is 21 and it’s all okay and consensual and that’s what we love!

I love an age gap romance, but I usually don’t pick a teacher student dynamic. I don’t know why, but it’s typically not my thing. But this book. HOLY

Wow this book was completely unexpected. This was my first book by the author and I really enjoyed it. When Olivia finally ends up with proof of her boyfriend’s cheating, she decides to let loose for the night. It is then that she attracts a stranger's attention, and again in the parking lot. They end up exchanging numbers and spend a lot of time communicating.

On the first day of class, Olivia discovers that the man, Sawyer, is her teacher. There is a bit of angst and yearning for each other. Their burning for each other was so hot! They might seem like they don’t fit but their differences bring out the best of each other. It was very very steamy. When they finally get together, it seems like this might be it for them but a huge bomb is dropped and then there’s the cliffhanger. I never saw that coming. I didn’t even know this book wasn’t finished but oh my that was such a good ending.
