*I won this book through the Goodreads giveaway program.*
As soon as I saw this book listed in the giveaways, I knew that I had to have it. I have long been struggling with feeling obligated to spend time I don't have with people I don't like doing things I don't want to do. I thought, at the very least, it would be a humorous read.
Not only was this book laugh-out-loud funny, it was practical, too. I've already started feeling less guilty about not giving a fuck! It all seems simple and obvious, but actually taking the time to sit down and declutter your headspace through visual exercises can be really empowering.
Overall this was a quick and entertaining read! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to mentally declutter their priorities and enjoys a bit of cursing while doing so. ;)

The life-changing magic of being a passive aggressive asshole.
I honestly can't tell if this book is meant as a) a "cool" guide to life or b) satire on books that tell you how to live your life.
I struggle to fully believe it's a) because the advice in it doesn't really extend beyond the title of the book. Some of the suggestions included are just idiotic; one example goes something like "if your friend asks you to go to an art gallery and you don't want to go just tell them you have a policy against art galleries and that's it, no questions asked! Really? That's such transparent bullshit and I'm sure your friend would appreciate you just being straight up with them.
And, I struggle to believe it's b) because I'd hope that a successful satirical book would manage some better attempts at comedy than just using the word 'fuck' literally every other sentence. I'm no prude, I swear all the time, but I don't pretend that makes me a comedian.

As someone who cares/cared a lot (a bit too much?) about what people think, this book was very freeing. I think I just needed permission to stop doing things I didn't want to do and not feel guilty about it! I recommend the book for a quick read if you're interested - it is very straightforward and I found some of it very helpful to hear.

An easy read, funny. Laid back. Not ground breaking but validating which is important. :P

Definitely not for everyone, and a little repetitive, but I found it enjoyable to read. I like the author's personality.
