I shouldve listened to reviews. I shouldve dnf'd. I'm glad I didn't impulse buy this when I wanted to.
A 35 year old pick me girl?? please. Take a shot for every time she said "I wore black, of course" or "heavy metal, of course" or emphasized her heavy metal black tee while she smokes and drinks and reads/watches The Shining. JFC.
there was maybe one creepy part towards the beginning but also wtf was the point of all the arguments with her cousin. that jack character was also extremely unnecessary and just a dick to be a dick without adding anything to the story.
also, was the cat butthole puttputt scene supposed to be comical??

Ummmm. Hmmmm. So I did enjoy this, but I was a little disappointed, it touched a little bit on some good topics but didn't really do much with them. There was a ghost aspect that I really liked but outside of that things were pretty boring. What happened was kinda interesting but I just wish it did more. It had potential to be a lot better. It was still good but I just wanted more.

This is not a typical thriller/horror, but I enjoyed it. But you should probably read and watch The Shining first.
