This was such a fun and unique holiday romance. I am a huge fan of Max's Stonewall Investigations series and this was a fun & light addition. I loved that there was still a mystery (though not as dark as say, a serial killer haha) and I loved all of the side characters. If you're looking for a steamy MM holiday romance, look no further!

So sweet and just in time for the Holidays

I loved Nick and Shiro’s story! It was funny, sexy, and their chemistry was H-O-T! I started off laughing so hard with the first time that Nick and Shy’s path’s crossed, which led us into their first super hot kiss. I loved their connection they shared and Max kept me on my toes with the elusive photog. I thought I knew who it was, but I was surprised at who the elusive pap was! I love a good holiday book, and this one delivered! Their HEA was perfect, and this was a great addition to the Stonewall series!

Not a bad addition to the Stonewall Investigations world, but way too short and not filled in so things felt sudden and out of nowhere.

I do love me a good fake boyfriend story.

Shy is super adorable! I found his character to be lovable and hilarious! Nick had major growth throughout the novel and his confidence to being true to himself was beautiful. Together they are even better.

Nick and Shy spend a Christmas cruise together after both going through recent breakups and although they begin as “fake”, you quickly get the feel of more. The chemistry is set from the first meeting and doesn’t end. There is always the ups and downs, but Nick and Shy fit together so nicely.

I adored this book, another fantastic work from Max!

The Miami series feels a little disjointed as the other series had a plot continuity. A cute romance nonetheless.
