This was a brilliant next step in the story of the Empyrean! Lots of twists and unexpectedness. The ending had me shocked and ready for tears! There was a familiar element to it however, but I really liked it nonetheless!

There was some good scenes but I think I got over-hyped for this book. I left the book just kinda meh compared to the first one when I HAD to get my hands on this one.
