Unlike the first two books, this one is a collection of unconnected stories. Nazi saboteurs (was that ever a thing outside of comics?) try to poison New York from a blimp, a mad scientist who experiments on homeless people, a mobster who makes an unfortunate deal with a Cthulhu like figure, a two issue story of Lobster Johnson facing the Crimson Lotus while the police investigate his journalist contact Cindy Tynan, and a nightclub performer tries to resurrect an Egyptian priest to take over the world.
The Crimson Lotus story was the strongest; it gave some backstory for some of The Lobster's helpers.

The Cthulhu monster with a Brooklyn accent was really the best part of this volume.

Un tomo recopilatorio con varias historias autoconclusivas, con diferentes enemigos. Todas ellas tienen su encanto y es agradable ver a otros dibujantes en la serie.

This is the third collection of Lobster Johnson stories but the first one I have read. I'm familiar with him since it is the comic that Hellboy read as a kid in his series. This collection of stories has that wonderful pulpy feel to it like the old movie serials. The claw always delivers justice and seems to know everything and does it all. Just a fun collection of rock em sock em stories and now I must go and track down the other volumes to read.

I love Lobster Johnson, okay. He's a great character. Think Captain America meets Indiana Jones with a noir flair. I can't get over how much I treasure him. The art in these books is amazing, to boot. Tonči Zonjić is a true blessing to comics. The stories are fast-paced and engaging, the kind of comics I've always wanted. On to the next one...
