This is a really cute sweet start to a yuri manga. I thought Kanon's hearing loss is handled really well, and I enjoyed the interactions between the two girls. Nothing progresses beyond friendship in this first volume - obtuse readers could probably miss the start of Saki's crush.

I was tired of reading straight books and I haven't read enough sapphic stuff this year, so I took a rec from my sister. She says this is the best yuri, and I'm inclined to believe her. Very good first installment

The concept of a moon on a rainy night, not always visible but always there, is such a beautiful metaphor. It matches my experience of living with chronic ilness / invisible disability really well.
