There’s no overarching plot to this series. Getting less enthused about continuing with each book I read. Very happy for Samuel though. Slightly interested in a spin-off with him.

This series gets better and better with every book... I enjoy the hardships the characters must overcome, each is unexpected and adds to the story. I also enjoy the personal interactions of the characters~ Briggs creates feelings that I can relate to.

I really love this series and I think it is different than most of the other werewolf or urban paranormal stories out there. I think the focus of the stories and interactions of the characters are great and the writer does a great job of keeping the reader's attention.

I really enjoyed this book. My passion for this sub-genre has been waning because there has been SO much of it out there, but Mercy is one of the originals, and a really good heroine, working-class, compassionate and never perfect. I think I actually enjoyed this installment in the series better than the last, the characters were really fleshed out, the mystery was well-plotted. Nothing HUGE happens, but being comfortable with the world and the other characters is nothing to sniff at. Enjoyable, and all in all still one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series!
