Another good read from this author. I enjoyed it, but I felt that it was so split at the same time. I loved the story of a teen trying to find out what happened the day her mother died. Then I also loved the story of a girl joining a secret club and getting roped into things she never imagined. But combining them together? It felt some elements were lost.

Due to the nature of the edition I had (ARC). I won't say much. I will say that I enjoyed the twists and turns, some was predictable some wasn't. However I give it a slight lower review for one reason: it's dated. Or it will be dated very quickly. There are certain plot points that I feel are very of the times and the book feels like it was written post 2016 but pre 2020 and I feel in five to ten years time, the book we feel dated beyond belief and not hold up as well as month before it's official release in April 2022.
