This is something special.

It's not about humans as the synopsis says, but it does have very gut-wrenching tales about humans. It's about existing.

What does it mean to be? It's more than just living, eating, and breathing. It's about experience.

This is way different from any other manga I read. I'm really excited about reading more of this.

A very interesting idea with great world building. A bit graphic but excellent all the same.

So, I already foresee this series breaking my heart.

A mysterious orb is cast down to earth. It has the ability to assume many forms, become many things. First, it is a rock. It soon becomes a wolf, a doglike companion to the only young man left alive and left lonely in an abandoned village in the middle of an icy wasteland. The young man’s people left him to watch over the village till they could return. The boy is loyal, awaiting them. Hoping for them.

With the boy, the wolf learns life can be hard and hopeless but still meaningful. When the boy succumbs to death with one last plea to his sole friend not to be forgotten, the loyal wolf takes on the boy’s form and begins his journey into the world.

This promises to be an insightful tale on what it means to be alive and to truly live your life. Definitely looking forward to the heartbreak~
