Not the best comic multiverse reboot I've ever read. DC has Marvel there.

Great book, a bit convoluted sometimes, downright messy others, but generally a really good crossover. Good art, decent writing.

…the ending…what?

I really want to give this a 3.5 but I can’t, so I had to pick 3. The scope, is huge. This is probably one of the biggest undertakings I’ve read since the Infinity series, but it gets a bit lost, and I wasn’t happy with the ending, which seemed like a sad cop out. This really could have been something special, but if that ending was planned all along it punched above its weight with the story.

Jonathan Hickman does so much for comics. His understanding of the history and an uncanny ability to create something new that not only honors what came before but also moves it forward. This book is pure genius. Esad Ribic honors each character with his brilliant artwork. Each frame is a painting that should be up in some museum. Beautiful and stunning, this art is a masterpiece.

Excellent art work, I didn't read it in conjunction with the other related issues, so I did miss a lot of the build up that would have made this the epic it feels like. Still a great story, just not as a stand alone. One star alone is for Miles having a pocket burger.

This is...the 4th time I reread it and I finally get it LMAO I LITERALLY WENT OOOOHHHHH

These gimmicks are getting really stupid. But otherwise it's great fun if you don't take everything too seriously. I enjoyed seeing underrated characters like Doom, Mister Sinister, the Fantastic Four and Future Foundation take center stage.

The Battleworld concept actually worked out way better than I thought it would because it opened up so many past storylines. For instance, I had no idea who Maestro was so that led me to look into all the various Hulk stories.
