His pining for a woman that spurns him initially is irritating yet you can’t help but feel so sorry for him. It’s short and sweet yet shows the devastation of first love
from the first page you realize that this book could only have been written by a poet
I love first-love-stories and this was some of the most beautiful prose I have ever read. So atmospheric and the descriptions of nature were incredibly stunning.
