I thought the story was a well written and enjoyable read with a bit of melancholy to it. The narrator who is the protagonist of the story tells his poignant tale which is fraught with passion and bittersweet memories.
It started with the a flavor of Dostoyevsky-like universality and depth, but gradually it diluted away. Still, it brings back all the emotional confusion and spectrum of our first loves -- those exciting times...
