This book having zero trigger warnings is disturbing. I have no idea how it has such a good average rating. The authors handling of abuse, kidnapping, and rape was disgusting. I did want to know what happened to the characters so I finished it but I should have stopped in the first part…. Hated it.

I would like to say that this book needs
WAYYYY more trigger warnings. This
could be a very traumatic read for
individuals who aren't prepared and even
for those who are. Many parts of this
book are extremely hard to read and I felt
I needed breaks often. The characters do
feel real in a certain sense, and the agony
of emotions can be felt.I may have
sobbed a few times because the feelings
rere just too deep. Not sure if I could say
recommend the book because of how
dark the themes are, but I would
definitely be interested in others
thoughts.
