I remember always hating the plot line of Jinjur’s army and yep, it’s even worse as an adult. At least I discovered the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman are in love.

i enjoyed reading the original wizard of oz book, but this sequel was slow and dull. read it aloud to my family and except for a few highlights, the girls (and my husband) were bored. glad we finally finished it!

I think I liked this one even more than the first part, even though when I started reading I missed Dorothy a lot.
I have to say that the ending was amazing and I absolutely didn't expect that to happen :)) Can not wait for the next part!

This is an unhinged sequel to The Wizard of Oz! I can't believe this was written in 1904. The metaphors about women, politics, knowledge, etc etc was so interesting to read and think through. This book is probably more relatable now over 100 years later. It's a wild ride and I definitely recommend it.

I definitely enjoyed reading this book. it was quite entertaining with some familiar characters and some visits New ones. I even loved the twist at the end
