The ending of this book was heartbreaking!! Kiva just can’t catch a break! And the more I read the more I love the authors writing style! Hopefully book 3 ends better than this one!

I'm still loving this series. There were a few times I thought "Girl, quit being so damn naive" but I still enjoyed every second. The plot was still predictable but there were some small twists that were super fun. I can't wait to start the next one. I didn't have the same excitement to reread this one as the first, however I'm guessing I'll want to revisit the entire series again at this rate anyways.
4.5 stars.

Y’all Lynette Noni SERVED! The plot twist in the first book is carried in the second but like not fully (I’m trying my best not to spoil). Kiva wants to deny her love for someone, let’s just say, because of her fear of betrayal. Not her getting betrayed, but her betraying. There’s also like two major plot twists and the best one near the end just like in the first book!! Also, I freaking hated zuleeka so much like she should just go kill herself. She never quits lying like shut the freak up nobody wants to listen but Kiva just keeps listening ughhh
