I love a good action movie. I love James Bond, Jason Borne, ect.

I had watch the show on Amazon Prime first and loved it. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I thought the character of Jack Reacher was so good so I had to read the book!

Now I'm annoyed the show didn't follow the book - the book is so good! It's hard not to enjoy how Reacher see's the world, how he approaches situations and his style of humour.

I really enjoyed this book - definitely a good introduction to the series but I felt like it was a bit slow in places. I don't often say this but the TV show (2022) did a really good job of adapting this book and changing it in a way which was in my opinion better.

I really liked the characters of Roscoe and Finlay - I feel like without these characters the book would have been lacking.

I also thought the plot was really clever though a little over the top sometimes (that's the fun of it ) - I don't think it was predictable and I look forward to reading more in this series

A great start to the Reacher series--it got me completely hooked on this series. After reading several of the novels, I think that Killing Floor has my favorite cast of supporting characters I've read so far. Overall, just a really enjoyable read, and one that I will probably come back to many times in the future.

This was alright. I was super intrigued at the beginning, ready to fall in love with this character and binge the series but found that it was a rather mediocre read. The writing style was very direct and to the point, which is ironic because the book felt very long. I enjoyed the humor, it was just my type. I may continue on with this series, just for the heck of it, but not any time soon. But hey, I learned something new about American dollars from this book.

Wow, a real page turner. The protagonist has implausible luck, but it works. There was an illogical moment in the middle, plots wise, where the character Finlay seems to both know and accept some of  Reacher's actions that are not really in line with his character development, and the romantic relationship is a bit ludicrous and convenient in a bond-like fashion, but it was a really fun read.

After watching the Amazon adaptation, I read that fans of the book were quite happy with this adaptation as it was more faithful to the source material. This made me curious, so I ordered the book.

The series is definitely true to the book, there are some minor changes but I think those changes helped to bring the book into 2022 seeing the original was published in 1997.

All in all, I enjoyed the book, but kinda enjoyed the series more 🤷🏼‍♀️
