What a great book! I really enjoyed it. I really like Morris. He is TOO GOOD for Sheila! lol. She was kind of the WORST to him and a insufferable HOE. I liked all the characters for what they were tho. I even enjoyed Ethan as a villain. It was all too good. ON TO 'FREAK' I GO!

I pity but dislike the heroine of this book, a sex addict, but at least she's not a brainless damsel in distress. She knows how to get herself out of trouble as well as she gets herself into trouble.
Spoiler If she hadn't gone down the pathway of a sex addict, she would have a lovely future with a man who loves her
. As a standalone, there is hope for a happy ending in this book but that seems unrealistic. The sequel makes the story complete as you get answers to some of the questions in this book. Yet, after reading the sequel, I feel it makes my feelings towards the series worse. This is hard to rate but overall, still a well-written thriller that's worth reading.

3.5 stars. Pretty good for a debut novel. I love this author but hadn’t gotten my hands on this and Freak, the second book in the series. This was a quick audiobook for me - engage in and just the right amount of “wtf”.

This book had me hooked! Although Dr Tao didn’t need to be messing with Ethan I still sympathized with her trying to move on and he was making it hard. Poor Morris was just lost smh but if my man ain’t looking for me like he was I don’t want him. I’d never guess Abby was the killer! That shocked me!
